Ghosts These ghostlike figures have silently gazed out from their venue for millennia. Whether the central figure stares from the afterworld or judges from this firmament, we can only guess. As difficult as it might be to interpret, these and other nearby pictographs are our best clues to the beliefs and customs of a society which inhabited the canyons of southern Utah thousands of years ago.
