| Spirits in Stone
These highly stylized and probably ritualistic figures were painted
thousands of years ago. Besides their rock art, little remains from this
ancient hunter/gatherer society which lived in what is now central Utah.
Although we can only guess as to the meaning of these spirits, their presence
attests to the imagination of this prehistoric culture. |
